ABOUT THE SCHOOL

 

The Eklavya Model Residential School is situated at Birchandranagar under Santirbazar Sub-Division and 17 K.M. away from South Tripura District Head Quarter (Belonia). The school is run by the TRIPURA TRIBAL WELFARE RESIDENTIAL EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS SOCIETY, under NESTS, Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Govt. of India. The school was established on 6th August, 2003. At beginning only 36 nos. of students were admitted in class VI (six) during the session 2003-2004. From the next session the school was gradually upgraded and at present the school is running with 401 nos. of students from classes VI to XII. The institution is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education; New Delhi and the Affiliation No. of the school is: 2020001 and School Code No. is: 35380.
